For this project I shot and edited a commercial for a can of Dr. Pepper. I wanted to create an energetic and refreshing vibe. The project was shot on a single table with two lights. I used a diffusion sheet to create soft lighting to achieve long vertical highlights on the can. A motorized turntable was used to rotate the cans and then the footage was time remapped in After Effects. To achieve the condensation on the outside of the cans I used a spray bottle with water and glycerin. In post I focused on color correction of my footage to emphasize the color of the Dr. Pepper cans to get a uniform color throughout all the shots and to bring out the color of the can.
